Use one payout account for all your pages

If you have more than one page, they can all get paid into the same Stripe account. You don’t connect Stripe again for each page, and there is nothing to type.

  1. 1Connect Stripe on one of your pages as usual.
  2. 2Switch to your other page and open Settings → Payments, or the Getting paid box.
  3. 3If it asks, confirm the page’s country (Yes, it is right). Stripe follows the country.
  4. 4Press Use the same payouts as, followed by your other page’s name. That’s it.

If more than one of your pages is connected, choose which one in the small list above the button.

  • Money for both pages goes to the same Stripe account. Your bank statement shows that account’s name.
  • Supporters of every page that uses the account see that Stripe account’s statement name on their card statement, so choose a name that fits them all, in your Stripe dashboard under Settings → Public details. See What supporters see on their bank statement.
  • Each page still has its own supporters, earnings, insights, fee and founding 0% period. Payments for one page never show on another.
  • Only pages on the same Kas D’atay account can share. A Stripe account works in one country, so a page set up for a different country needs its own.
  • Pages paid through PayPal work the same way: press Use the same PayPal email as your other page.

Want one page paid separately later? On that page, choose Connect a different Stripe account for this page and set up the new account on Stripe’s site. Until Stripe says the new account can take payments, the page keeps getting paid into the shared account, so it never stops taking support, and you can choose Cancel the new account to stop setting it up. Then only that page moves; your other pages keep the shared one. Payments still arriving on the old account for that page (a checkout someone had open, a monthly gift that started there) are still recorded on it, monthly supporters keep paying into the account they joined on, and refunds of earlier payments come from the account they were paid into.

An AI assistant can’t do this for you: only you can press the button. When your page could use it, the assistant’s setup state says payoutsCanBeShared (yes or no only: it never tells the assistant the names of your other pages) and it will ask you to press it.

Several pages on one account is being switched on gradually. See Several pages on one account.
