Ethical by design.
Our content rules are rooted in Islamic values. Only approved creators publish, and every page, post, picture, link and sound is checked by a person before it goes live, so no one finds themselves next to content they’d be uncomfortable with.
Who it's for
Welcome here.
Made for those whose work helps others. That includes educators, speakers & da’ees, writers & journalists, translators, designers & illustrators, calligraphers & artists, photographers & videographers, podcasters & YouTubers, content creators, developers & app makers, coaches & mentors, researchers, cooks & recipe creators, crafters & makers and community organisers, and others too.
Not allowed
Not on Kas D’atay.
- Adult or sexually suggestive content
- Gambling, lotteries, alcohol or drugs
- Interest-based finance or speculative schemes
- Hate, harassment or incitement
- Anything illegal where we or the creator operate
- Impersonating a person, scholar or organisation
- Calling personal support Sadaqah, Zakat, charity or a donation
How review works
From draft to live.
- Draft. Your new page is only visible to you.
- Send for review. When you’re ready, send it to our team.
- Reviewed by a person. Usually within 1–2 working days.
- Live. Approved pages go public and can take support.
Edge cases
When it’s unclear.
No photos of people or animals. A profile picture must be a logo, a drawing or an avatar with no face. Anything showing a face is sent back to the creator to change.
Music, finance education: scholars differ on some of these, so where something is unclear we take the cautious position. This is our own house rule, not a ruling for anyone else.
We do our best, but we won’t always get it right. If you think we’ve made the wrong call, please appeal. We’ll look at it again and work with you towards a fair resolution.
