Why can’t I use Sadaqah or Zakat on my button?

Support on Kas D’atay is a personal gift for your work. It isn’t Sadaqah, Zakat or a charitable donation, and we don’t issue charitable tax receipts.

So that supporters are never misled, words like Sadaqah, Zakat, Waqf, Lillah, charity and donation can only be used by verified registered charities.
