Webhooks: connect Kas D’atay to your own site and tools

Published

Some creators want support to show up somewhere else too: a thank-you list on their own website, a row in a spreadsheet, a message in their team chat. Webhooks make that possible without waiting for us to build each connection.

A webhook is a web address you own. Each time someone supports you, a payment is refunded or a monthly gift or membership ends, we send it a short message with the details.

How it works

  1. 1Open Integrations and add your web address (it must start with https).
  2. 2Choose the events you want.
  3. 3Press Send a test and check the delivery log for your server’s reply.

Every message is signed with a secret only you and we know, so your site can check it really came from Kas D’atay. If your address is down, we try again four times over the next two and a half hours. If it keeps failing, we switch it off and email you.

Supporters’ private messages are marked is_public false. Only show a message publicly when is_public is true.

Using Zapier

In Zapier, start a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier and the Catch Hook trigger, then paste the address it gives you into Integrations. Send a test so Zapier can see the fields.
